The Queen Elizabeth Oval (QEO) in Bendigo is one of Victoria's pre-eminent regional sporting stadiums at the centre of Bendigo's sporting culture.

Currently the base of local football, netball & cricket teams, the use of the area as a sports oval dates back to the 1800s. The existing grandstand on the Western side of the oval was constructed in 1901, in time to host the touring England cricket team who were in Australia to contest the Ashes.

CohenLeigh Architects worked closely with City of Greater Bendigo to develop the QEO Masterplan, and have since been engaged to undertake stage 1 works at the south east corner of the Queen Elizabeth Oval site. The works include design & documentation of Landscaping Areas, Urban Design of the Entry Gates on View Street, new spectator tiered seating & shaded shelters and an integrated kiosk & amenities structure.
